BRP - 477 Pitt St
Permax Commercial delivered a premium interior fit-out for BRP at 477 Pitt Street, situated in the heart of Sydney's Tech Precinct. This project showcased our expertise in high-end finishes and precision detailing, with standout features including feature timber batten ceilings, pivot frameless glass doors, as well as doors and door hardware. Our scope of works also encompassed plasterboard and glass partitions and the installation of ceiling tiles that contributed to the refined and polished interior. With a focus on attention to detail, Permax Commercial was able to deliver a successfully transformed space to our client.
Westmead Innovation Centre
Permax Commercial was engaged to deliver a cutting-edge fit-out for the Westmead Innovation Centre, an advanced facility within The University of Sydney. Designed to foster collaboration and research excellence, this project required precision craftsmanship and innovative interior solutions.The fit-out featured perforated plasterboard ceilings, providing both acoustic performance and a sleek visual appeal. Double-glazed acoustic partitions were installed to enhance sound insulation while maintaining a modern and open environment. One-way viewing glass was incorporated to allow discreet observation within specialized training areas. The integration of automatic and manual sliding doors ensured accessibility and seamless movement throughout the space, while the grid and tile ceilings added to the overall refined aesthetic.Through high-quality materials and expert execution, Permax Commercial has helped create a dynamic, state-of-the-art space tailored to innovation and education.
Eels Lane Gaming
Permax Commercial proudly delivered the interior fitout for Eels Lane Gaming at Parra Leagues Club, transforming the space into a dynamic gaming environment. Our scope of work encompassed the installation of plasterboard and glazed partitions, creating a seamless and functional layout that enhances both aesthetics and privacy. We also integrated auto-doors and premium door hardware, ensuring smooth accessibility and a refined finish. The project included the construction of ceilings and roof framing, meticulously designed to support the architectural vision while maintaining structural integrity. The external façade was crafted to complement the club's contemporary aesthetic, and the use of structural steel framing provided the necessary support for key architectural features.With a commitment to precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, Permax Commercial has helped create an inviting and high-end gaming experience for Parra Leagues Club patrons, setting a new standard for quality interior fit-outs in the industry.
Western Sydney Startup Hub
At the WSSH Permax Commercial commenced onsite work in August of 2021 installing internal fitout components across all five buildings including aluminium and glass partitions, plaster partitions, fire doors, aluminium doors, solid core doors and a number of feature suspended ceilings including detailed bulkhead and light pelmets.
155 KING STREET
Permax Commercial completed this interior fit-out of a new flagship store located in the heritage-listed Trust Building in Sydney CBD. The store was a unique job created for a prestigious client where Permax worked with suppliers ranging in locations from Sydney to Paris for pillars, plaster mouldings and ceilings to create the client’s ideal vision.
UBER HEAD OFFICE
This contemporary fitout for technology company Uber, is a two level, open plan office space in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Permax undertook the works to deliver this exciting new fitout for the Main Contractor ‘Built’.
MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY BUILDING C7A
Permax undertook the role of partitions, ceilings, feature ceilings and doors and hardware on this technical and well sought after library at Macquarie University. The clients goal was to develop the opportunity of spatial experimentation. Macquarie University engaged four architectural firms to develop four different spaces within the useable areas of C7A. The ambition of our client was to deliver a variety of flexible spaces that support the social learning environment, with an aesthetic that draws on raw materials from the industrial and natural world.
Permax Commercial was engaged on a fixed lump sum contract to complete the full fitout of this two level building.
Once the fitout was complete, the spaces provided areas for groups of 2 to 8+ students to collaborate or study, while also providing opportunity for more personal work spaces.
OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Permax Commercial was engaged by Grindley Interiors to complete a refit of an existing Telstra training office in North Strathfield, Sydney, to create a new teaching space for the Our Lady Of Assumption Catholic Primary School.
The fitout included staff offices and meeting rooms, three main classrooms and two withdrawal spaces for one on one learning. The design was tailored for children from Kindergarten to year two. The classrooms were designed with sliding pinboard and glass doors so as to open or close these spaces depending on the learning environment.
Permax undertook the works of plasterboard partitions, suspended ceilings, feature ceilings and timber framed glass sliding doors.
SYDNEY MARRIOTT HOTEL
Permax Commercial delivered the refurbishment of the main public areas of the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. The works included the upgrade of the ground floor lobby area, new all day dining, heritage bar upgrade works, new laneway barista bar, new reception & concierge areas,new baggage area, new lounge and upgrade works to the main hotel entry and porte-cochère area.
Permax worked closely with Main Contractor to establish a construction programme to minimise interruption to the hotel operation as the refurbishment works were carried out in a fully functional and live environment. This meant working around 600 hotel guest rooms, second floor dining area, a pool, gym, AVIS car rental facility and an operating Post Office within the same building.
